Amy "Not Ready" To Work on Music

I think this is GREAT. She's never going to hit rock bottom unless she loses something due to her addiciton. So far she's been internationally praised, won 5 Grammys, played a fancy Chanel gig during Paris Fashion Week...the list goes on!

Good for Mark Ronson for actually caring about a friend enough to say something.


Mark Ronson has revealed he pulled the plug on studio sessions to record the new Bond theme with Amy Winehouse—because she is such a wreck.

And the decision to scrap the project has caused a massive rift between the music-making pals.

Mark said, “We did work on it but we never finished it. I don’t think it will happen unless by some miracle it gets recorded and someone sings on it. I’m not sure Amy is ready to work on music yet.”

The pair started work on the track at Mark’s studio in Oxfordshire last month, but their sessions soon deteriorated.

Amy is also said to be upset that Mark has spoken publicly about their problems.

And pals fear the rift between her an Mark — who is a key figure in her career — will have long-term consequences for the troubled 24-year-old.

One told The Sun newspaper: “Mark has always had a really good influence on Amy. He brought out the best in her and cared for her on a personal level.

“On a professional level he seems to be the only person who can get her into the studio. Without him encouraging her we’re worried.”

Amy’s spokesman said: “Mark presented a track to Amy, but she had other ideas about the direction it should take. We’re sure they will continue to make great music together.” (Source: showbiz Spy)

Troubled Amy Winehouse has been cheating on her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil with “clean-cut mummy’s boy” Alex Haynes, it has been claimed.

The singer, who was yesterday arrested on suspicion of assault, now plans to divorce drug-addled Blake.

Amy’s friends and management are said to be “over the moon” that she has fallen for 24-year-old Alex, who is her manager’s assistant.

A source said: “It is a relief that it’s finally out and they have everyone’s 100 per cent backing. Alex is a good boy. He doesn’t smoke or take drugs. He isn’t a big drinker. Amy has really fallen for him.”

The singer — who makes her first entry into the Sunday Times Rich List tomorrow with an estimated wealth of $20m — has tried to keep her month long relationship with Haynes under wraps for fear of how Blake, 25, would take the news in London’s Pentonville prison, where he is on remand accused of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

A pal of the singer told British newspaper The Sun last night: “Amy doesn’t want the truth coming out because she doesn’t want him reading things that will upset him in case he tries to do anything silly in jail.

“She does care about him still and has been trying to be seen to support him through his jail ordeal — but she just doesn’t want to be with him any more.”

Amy told Blake their 11-month marriage was over during an emotional meeting at the prison on Monday.

She first called in financial advisers two weeks ago to discuss how to protect her fortune.

The singer is said to have made her decision after a series of late-night heart-to-hearts with Alex.

A source said: “Amy hangs on his every word. He is tough and Blake is scared of him. That has made her feel ready to end it.”

Another source said: “She has been fed up for ages and saying she wants to call it a day.

“All Blake does is scream and shout at her on the phone from prison and curse at her and his family blame her and criticize her.

“The pressure has been building and building and while she was away working with Mark Ronson she had time to think about everything.

“The trial is coming up and as it gets nearer and nearer the thought that he could come out has been on her mind — and it’s not what she wants any more.

“Even the thought of having to go to court and publicly support him and see his family has been too much for her and has been doing her head in.

“She has been turning up late and missing visits so she decided to just be straight with him.

“He burst into tears and was begging her. But once Amy has made up her mind, that’s it.

“While he has been inside she has not been faithful to him and got herself in a position where he couldn’t come back anyway because too much has gone on while he has been inside.

“She is filing for separation and making it official and has been celebrating ever since.”

I really don't know what to say about Amy Winehouse anymore. I hope she gets help soon.

British singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested in London on suspicion of assault.

She voluntarily reported to a London police station on Friday to answer questions, and was detained.

“A 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault after attending a central London police station by appointment,” a Scotland Yard spokesman told the BBC. “She is currently in custody.”

The troubled star earlier this week allegedly headbutted an onlooker who attempted to help her get a taxi, because she thought he was trying to molest her.

She also was alleged to have punched a second person in the face.

One of the men Amy is accused of attacking, Mustapha el Mounmi, 27, said, “I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back — she’s a woman,”

Amy Winehouse could be facing arrest and a possible six month jail sentence after she attacked two men while on a drug-fueled bender.

The drug addled singer, 24, faces a police quiz following claims she ‘headbutted’ a man who was trying to help her get a cab outside a bar, and then was said to have allegedly punched a second victim in the face.

A source said the ‘Rehab’ star also kissed a mystery man at a nightspot, and in one bar threw drinks around and overturned tables while she screamed “I am a legend…I want to take drugs”.

It has also been claimed that she was seen smoking drugs in the street and angered a taxi driver by paying only half her promised fare home, and telling him his ride “wasn’t worth it.”

Amy spent the day drinking at her North London home, she then hit up local pub The Good Mixer with Pete Doherty’s Babyshambles bandmate Mik Whitnall.

Once inside the pub, she is said to have hit Mustapha el Mounmi after he refused to give way to her at the pool table.

“I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back — she’s a woman,” said Mounmi, 27.

Amy was reportedly high on Class A drugs, and was seen in the streets of Camden looking wild-eyed, confused and unsteady on her feet following a six-hour pub crawl.

She returned to her flat after playing pool, but left shortly after to visit nearby hot spot Bar Tok at 2am.

A source said: “She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables.

“Amy screamed, ‘I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs.”

And according to onlookers, the troubled star then kissed a mystery friend before leaving at 2.45am.

Another onlooker then tried to help Amy get a taxi, but she reportedly thought he was trying to molest her and allegedly headbutted him in the face.

The alleged victim went to police yesterday and reported his claim, sparking the police probe. Sources say that Amy will be arrested.

If convicted of assault, she could face up to six months’ jail and a $4,000 fine.

After arriving home at 4am, Amy then had to break into her own home in the early hours yesterday after losing her keys.

Amy Winehouse is at the center of a fresh drugs scandal after it was claimed she snorted cocaine at a party with Sir Bob Geldof’s 17-year-old daughter just feet away.

The 24-year-old singer allegedly sneaked off to the toilet to snort line after line of the deadly drug — with Pixie Geldof in the room next door.

A source said the Grammy winner was complaining to party goers at her home in London, that if she doesn’t kick drugs, she could lose her looks and her husband.

“I’ve been told I’ll lose my looks over this—but I can’t give it up!” Amy said after snorting a round of cocaine.

“I’m told my scars might never heal. My dermatologist says it’s a result of the drugs and it could spread to other parts of my body if I don’t quit.

“What will I do if I lose my looks? Blake will never love me like that.”

As the singer’s friends relaxed in the lounge, Amy got up and slipped off to the bathroom.

The source adds to Britain’s News of The World newspaper: “Not only was it obvious what she was doing but I could see her. I was waiting to use the toilet and could see Amy through the door.

“It’s sad to see one of Britain’s hottest talents kneeling on the floor of a bog and snorting drugs.

“She dabbed up the last few bits of powder, making sure she got every last bit, from the lid.

“On top of the drugs she was drinking heavily. Bottles of rum and coke were lying around—she was clearly worse for wear.”

A source said: “She has become absolutely obsessed with ironing things.

“Not just her clothes but also towels, sheets, scarves. Anything really. She’s a very obsessive person and has always been addicted to something.

“We’ve had cannabis, cocaine, crack, heroin and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

“All the others have been rather more destructive, apart from knitting, which she has also had an on/off love affair with. But ironing is definitely her new favorite.”
