Cameron Takes A Year Off

Sometimes I think I don't like Cameron Diaz, but then I realize that I'm just jealous of her. Sure, I could slag her for her bad skin - but come on. It only makes her more human and somehow more perfect. She's a guy's girl. A girl's girl. She's just so cool. All BFF'ing with Drew Barrymore. Kissing lots of boys.

Since she lost her dad - I've felt so bad for her. And then you read something like this and you realize that even when she's grieving - Cameron Diaz is still SO cool.

I hope she has a really great year.

Cameron Diaz is set to put her career on hold and take a year off to “have fun”.

“I envision a full year off, just living life and having fun. It’s the best thing,” the Shrek star, 35, said in an interview with W magazine.

Cameron gave the interview before her father died on April 15, fueling speculation the actress may take even longer than her planned year.

She added: “I’m just kind of taking more time getting to know myself.

“It sounds so corny that I can’t believe I even just said that, but, you know, there comes a time when you really have to get to know who you are.

“I’ve just been figuring out what interests me and spending time with people who are important to me and being present in my own life.”

JT Attends Cam's Dad's Memorial Service

So classy.

Justin Timberlake showed his support for ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz at a memorial service for her late father, Emilio Diaz, in Seal Beach, California on Sunday.

Diaz’s other love-interest, John Mayer, also paid his respects to Emilio, who died of pneumonia last Tuesday at age 58.

Entertainment Tonight reports that tropical flowers were carried inside, and some guests even wore Hawaiian clothing and leis — a notion her father likely would have appreciated.

“Most people started arriving at 1.30pm and very few were wearing black. Lots of people had Hawaiian shirts on,” an onlooker said.

In a statement last week, the ‘Shrek’ actress said, “his humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”

In lieu of flowers, Diaz is asking fans to make donations in her father’s name on Surfrider.org or Reefcheck.org.

Justin dated Cameron from 2003 to 2006. And John has been romantically linked to the 35-year-old actress for the past two years. They both arrived separately and stayed until people started leaving at 4pm.(Source: Showbiz Apy)

Cameron "Splits" from Gerard?

I highly doubt Cameron Diaz gives a shit about her "break-up" with Gerard Butler. Does it even count a break-up if you've only been dating a week?


It hasn't been a good week for poor Cameron Diaz.

Less than a week after the death of her beloved father, the Hollywood starlet faces further heartache - after splitting with new fella, Gerard Butler.

After enjoying a string of intimate dates, the Scottish stud appears to have moved on to pastures new.

But Cam can take solace knowing that Glaswegian Gezza's latest conquest ranks considerably lower on the celebrity food-chain.

While Cam mourned her dad, the PS I Love You star was seen swapping saliva with Cheryl Burke - a pro on US TV show Dancing With The Stars.

The couple were fawning all over one another at a bash thrown by US Weekly mag at Beso restaurant in LA.

We're told: "He was in the VIP section when Cheryl came up to him. After some banter he gave her a passionate snog in front of everyone."

Beso means "kiss" in Spanish. How very appropriate.

New Couple Alert: Cameron & Gerard Butler

You gotta worry about a guy who used to date Naomi Campbell....



Cameron Diaz has secretly been dating Scottish actor Gerard Butler, it has been claimed.

Diaz — who recently said that she was “boy crazy” — has reportedly been on three dates with the ‘Reign of Fire’ actor in just 10 days.

A source — who saw the pair sharing drinks at Shutters Hotel last week — said: “They walked up to the balcony area to look at the sunset. He had one arm round her waist and the other on the small of her back.

“She kept giggling and touching his chest to whisper in his ear. They obviously had a good night.”

‘Shrek’ star Diaz, 35, and Butler, 38, have also been out at Teddy’s Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel in LA, where fellow clubbers say there was a lot of “thigh touching”.

And a couple of days before that, they dined at The Chateau Marmont hotel.

Diaz has been linked to magician Criss Angel and John Mayer since splitting with Justin Timberlake & Butler was most recently linked with model Naomi Campbell.

Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon Rekindled?

Page Six has a video of Cameron Diaz having a good time at Chateau Marmont with someone who definitely looks exactly like Matt Dillon. They seem flirty for sure - very cute, really. I love Cameron. I love her because she's BFF's with Drew Barrymore, she has bad skin and because she tokes up on vacations to Hawaii. I just like that about her!

But don't you think it would be alot hotter if she were dating KEVIN Dillon (aka Johnny Drama)? Creepy, yes - but Matt is supposedly such a jerk. Kevin, Cam, KEVIN.
