Lohan Loves Champagne and McDonalds

I always wonder about people who go to rehab and then say that they can have one or two glasses...but as long as she's staying out of trouble, I'm going to let this go. All I'm going to say is...McDonalds and champagne?! ME TOO!

Lindsay Lohan still drinks champagne.

The 'Mean Girls' actress, who was treated for alcoholism at a Utah rehab facility last year, says she likes to indulge in a glass -- or two -- of her favorite beverage.

She said, "These days I drink buckets of green tea and a glass or two of champagne at night."

Lindsay, 22, also admitted having a penchant for fast food, especially McDonalds.

She revealed, "My guiltiest pleasure is McDonalds and I adore their French fries. I also love peanut butter and jam sandwiches in the morning after a night out.

"When I was filming 'The Parent Trap' in London all I wanted was American food like Dunkin' Donuts and McDonalds but I was only young.

"Nowadays, I love to eat turkey sandwiches in my trailer with lashings of mayonnaise and salad. I have them on brown bread though to counteract the mayonnaise. I try to eat healthily on set."

Cheryl Hines LOVES Lindsay Lohan!

I really do hope that Linds has gotten her shit together. YOU KNOW I'm a sucker for a comeback. Especially when the person coming back has some talent. But at the same time, I wonder if all of the positive press is merely a ploy by the studio to turn public opinion around....?

Lindsay Lohan has made her 'Labor Pains' co-star Cheryl Hines "very proud".

Hines has nothing but praise for the former-troubled star -- and says she was very professional during filming of the upcoming comedy flick.

She tells People magazine, "I have had a great time shooting with her, and when we have scenes together we have a lot of fun improvising.

"It usually ends in a big laugh fest, and they have to cut because we can't talk anymore."

Hines, who has starred with Larry David in the HBO hit Curb Your Enthusiasm since 2000, insists she expected nothing less from the 22-year-old star – even in light of Lohan's past troubles on set.

"It was what I expected," Hines said of Lohan's professionalism. "I honestly expected that she's gotten herself together, and really wanted to work and that's what she's showing us. I'm very proud of her."

Lohan's movie career has been stalled by stints in rehab, but a Labor Pains producer last month confirmed that those days appear to be over – the 'Mean Girls' star -- who is rumored to be dating DJ Samantha Ronson -- showed up for work June 9 on the L.A. location and has consistently been early and well-prepared for the grueling 12-hour shoots.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson cracked up after spotting a DVD of one of the actress's, er, lesserknown works in an LA shop window - Disney's Get A Clue.

The loved-up pair were out shopping and enjoying an al fresco lunch shortly after going public with their year-long romance.

And we can reveal that the girls are taking things to the next level. Hip-hop DJ Sam - whose bro is producer Mark - has splashed out on an $22,000 Cartier diamond ring for her girlfriend.

"Sam took Lindsay shopping to celebrate her 22nd birthday," says a source. "Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud.

"It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment.

"Lindsay is thrilled and she and Sam are very content."

Linds Had A Happy Birthday

Aww. This actually sounds very sweet and really fun.

Lindsay Lohan turned 22 Wednesday night with an intimate prom-themed birthday bash – and a sweet smooch from Samantha Ronson.

The actress – wearing a bright pink strapless micro-minidress and a massive diamond necklace – arrived at Teddy's lounge inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel just after 10 p.m. And her companion Ronson took the prom-theme seriously, dressed to the nines in black pants, a tuxedo shirt, bow tie and top hat with red trim.

Once the 50 guests – including former Sopranos star Jamie Lynn Sigler – began arriving at the balloon-filled venue, the Birthday Girl greeted them all energetically with smiles, hugs and kisses. Ronson was never far behind, often keeping her hand on the small of Lohan's back.

Just after midnight, Teddy's wheeled out a large pink sheet cake featuring a picture of Marilyn Monroe in her iconic wind-blown white dress. The entire lounge sang "Happy Birthday" and Lohan obligingly blew out the candles. Her friends then chanted "speech, speech, speech," but the guest of honor replied jokingly, "Shut the f--- up." (Her mother, Dina, stepped in to say, "Thank you all for coming.")

Soon after that, Ronson took over the D.J. duties (replacing DJ AM), as she spun a mix of '80s tunes and current hits. Lohan – who stuck to Red Bull all evening – made several visits to the booth and pumped her fists in the air to Journey's "Small Town Girl."

As the party wound down, the couple appeared to relax, even sneaking in a small peck on the lips at the DJ booth. By 1:15 a.m., the music was muted and Lohan turned out the lights with Ronson by her side.

The 'Mean Girls' actress -- who is rumored to be dating openly gay DJ Samantha -- reportedly adopts a submissive role in their alleged relationship.

A source tells American magazine Star, "Lindsay and Samantha are totally playing house and loving every minute of it. And, yes, they share a bed!

Lindsay's New Movie

I can't say that I'm "excited" about a new Lesby movie - but I have to remind myself...I LOVED "Freaky Friday" and I loved "Mean Girls." There IS a decent actress in there. I'm just not sure if we'll ever see her again.

But the story I'm really loving about Lesby right now? You've heard about her doing it with Bobby Brown's son in the bathroom at some party, didn't you? Ew.

Lindsay Lohan almost didn't get the chance to change her life with a new movie, which starts shooting Monday.

"Labor Pains" producer Rick Schwartz kept getting turned down by insurers, an informed source tells us.

"[Schwartz] could only find one insurance company to cover her, and even then he really had to vouch for her."

As Carrie Fisher wrote in "Postcards From the Edge," actors with a history of drug and alcohol abuse, to which Lohan has admitted, have difficulty getting film insurance. Lohan is still on probation for two DUI arrests last year.

"Labor Pains" is just the sort of romantic comedy that could turn the talented 21-year-old beauty's career around.

According to the screenplay we've obtained, Lohan plays a young woman who pretends to be pregnant so she doesn't get fired. She thrives on the attention she's getting despite "carrying a volleyball around on her stomach." We don't want to be spoilers, but the script is hilarious.

The movie will be made whether or not there's an actors strike, since the union gave Schwartz a waiver, Variety reported.

"Lindsay is a tremendously talented actress," said Plum Pictures' Celine Rattray, who's co-producing the film. "We have spent a lot of time with her over the last three months, and she has really impressed us with her work ethic.

"She comes to every meeting 15 minutes early, to the point where she has shown up a few times before we were ready for her. She is rehearsing every day with energy and focus. She is lovely to her co-stars and the crew.

"We got her insured in the film, and our insurance and bond reps have also been impressed with her good behavior.

"Whatever personal issues she may have had in the past, it is clear to me that work is her total priority.

"She wants to make this role and this film a success, and I truly believe in her."

Concludes our source: "It's definitely the kind of movie people want to see Lindsay in, not like 'I Know Who Killed Me.'"

Johnny Depp has offered Lindsay Lohan the use of his private island.

The Sweeney Todd actor and his partner, French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, own their own Caribbean retreat - which they've named 'F**k Off Island' - and make regular trips there to escape the pressures of fame.

And now Johnny, 44, has offered the troubled Mean Girls star use of the island whenever she wants to escape the intense scrutiny of her private life.

A source said, "Johnny realizes the pressures of fame and can see Lindsay could do with a break."

Johnny and Lindsay met backstage at the MTV Movie Awards - after the actor had picked up two prizes for Best Villain and Best Comedy Performance - and Lohan, 21, was delighted when Johnny invited her to stay on the island.

Meanwhile, Lindsay's parents were today back in court over custody issues.

Michael Lohan complained that his ex-wife, Dina, wasn't living up to a visitation agreement involving their two youngest children, Ali, 14, and Dakota, 11.

Wednesday night, Michael showed up at the Peninsula Hotel, where Ronson was deejaying a men.style.com party. "Michael found out where Lindsay was going to be and went to find her," a source said. "She was really freaked out by it because she has no interest in seeing her father."

Hotel spies say Lindsay checked in with Ronson on Tuesday, but by Wednesday afternoon, before the party started, she had cleared out, possibly after learning her father was on his way.

"Michael was staking out the lobby and waiting for Lindsay to make an appearance," said our source. "It was freaky. He was sitting on the steps and texting like mad, and looking very upset that she hadn't arrived."

A series of photos obtained yesterday by The Post reveal hard-partying Lindsay Lohan allegedly sporting the $11,000 mink coat belonging to Columbia University co-ed Masha Markova - minutes after the student's prized fur disappeared from a nightclub.

Lohan, 21, is even seen brazenly toting around what looks like the exact precious mink - and then happily posing for the cameras in it.

In a rundown to the star's walk of shame:

* Lohan is first spotted hitting several downtown clubs late Jan. 25 wearing a black shearling.


* She arrives at the nightclub 1Oak in her black coat.

* As she leaves the club in the wee hours, photographers capture the Long Island-born star grinning - and wearing the striking blond coat.


* Hours later, Lohan is caught on camera covering her face while wearing her original black coat - but carrying what looks like the mink in question.

* A full 20 hours later, a refreshed Lohan is photographed going to dinner sporting a beaming smile - and allegedly Markova's blond mink.

Handlers for the "Mean Girl" passed the buck yesterday, claiming that one of Lohan's male pals accidentally grabbed the valuable fur at the club.

Lohan's handlers said one of her female friends had a fur that night and asked the male pal to "get my fur" as they were preparing to leave. He grabbed the blond mink.

But the reps wouldn't address how Lohan ended up with it.

Markova fingered Lohan after seeing the "Herbie Fully Loaded" star wearing what looked like the missing mink in OK! magazine.

After her lawyer called Lohan's people, the pricey pelt was mysteriously returned to the club and passed on to Markova, 22, almost three weeks later.

Ashlee Simpson has vowed not to follow in the same, destructive footsteps as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Simpson — who recently announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz — says that unlike Spears and Lohan, she is in control of her career.

She says, “I don’t see myself ever following the path those girls take.

“I’m almost 24, I’m pretty together and I’m getting married.

“I wouldn’t ever let myself get that way and I don’t surround myself with ‘yes’ people. I think that’s the most important thing.”

She continues, “People don’t control me or anything I do and I’ve never had that problem.

Even People Magazine, who is notoriously celeb-friendly, is jumping on the "Lindsay is NOT sober" bandwagon. You'll remember from my Grammy's Post that Linds was at the People sponsored pre-party at The Avalon. She was very messed up. Obviously. In recent weeks Perez has started talking about her "pAArtying" ways. Now even People is reporting it. But they're cool about it - kinda bury it in there.


Lindsay Lohan continued to support good friend Samantha Ronson, hanging out at Times Square's Hawaiian Tropic Zone as Ronson spun tunes from midnight to 4 a.m. Sunday.

The pair arrived together, both wearing black leather jackets, right on time at 12 a.m. A blond-haired Lohan stationed herself at a table directly behind Ronson's deejay booth in the second level VIP section, which overlooked a packed dance floor.

For the first hour, the star sat at her table, chatting with friends and smoking cigarettes. Then Lohan started dancing to Britney Spears's "Gimme More." Drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails, she danced the night away with girlfriends. Lohan really got into the music, tossing her hair around and doing full body rolls – even throwing her hands in the air and singing along to Madonna's new song "4 Minutes." She also sang along and pumped her chest to "Soulja Boy."
